Possible donor call: ano ang ihahanda

Possible match pa lang ang tawag
Kapag tinawagan ka tungkol sa possible deceased donor kidney, mahalagang maintindihan na hindi pa iyon automatic na transplant. Maaaring kailangan pa ng donor review, recipient assessment, crossmatch at iba pang final checks bago malaman kung safe at appropriate na ituloy ang surgery.
Minsan, matapos ang additional testing, maaaring hindi matuloy ang offer. Hindi ito nangangahulugang may nagawa kang mali; bahagi ito ng safety at matching process.
Sundin ang exact instruction sa tawag
Pakinggan at isulat ang instruction tungkol sa kailan pupunta, saan pupunta, ano ang dadalhin, at kung may instruction tungkol sa pagkain, inom, dialysis o medicines. Huwag gumawa ng sariling pagbabago sa gamot o dialysis schedule kung hindi iyon sinabi ng transplant team.

Siguraduhing updated ang contact number ng transplant center at alam ng family/emergency contact kung paano ka ma-reach. Kung may missed call from the transplant team, call back using the verified number or method you were given rather than responding to unknown messages that ask for sensitive information.
