SSS Disability Benefit para sa Dialysis Patients: Requirements at Paano Mag-Apply

Sa public Facebook experiences reviewed by KidneyTalksPH, may dialysis patients na nakapag-file online, pero hindi pare-pareho ang journey. Ito ang pattern na lumabas sa actual cases—not a guarantee na eksaktong ganito rin ang mangyayari sa iyo.
- 1Isang detailed 2026 dialysis case filed through My.SSS and prepared an SSS medical certificate signed by the nephrologist, dialysis treatment sheets/protocol, medical abstract and laboratory results.
- 2Sa case na iyon, online ang filing at mabilis ang approval. Pero may ibang dialysis applicants na pagkatapos mag-file online ay nakatanggap pa rin ng email requiring Physical Examination and Interview (PEI) sa SSS Medical Evaluation Center.
- 3Sa mga PEI stories, dinala ng patients ang ID at uploaded medical documents. May reports na chineck ng SSS doctor ang physical condition, nagtanong tungkol sa disability, at nag-document ng evaluation bago ipagpatuloy ang claim.

Official SSS process at requirements
Ito ang formal SSS side ng process. Gamitin ang section na ito para i-check kung ang nakita mo sa patient experience ay aligned sa official requirements.
Sino ang puwedeng mag-file?
SSS Disability Benefit is for members with a permanent partial or permanent total disability that is medically evaluated by SSS. Ang pagiging dialysis patient ay important medical evidence, pero hindi automatic na total disability classification.
Monthly pension o lump sum?
Ayon sa SSS, disability benefit may be paid as a monthly pension or lump sum. At least 36 monthly contributions before the semester of disability are required for a monthly disability pension. Kung mas mababa rito, lump-sum benefit may apply depending on the member's record and SSS assessment.
Official kidney-disease documents
- ✓SSS Medical Certificate accomplished by the attending physician within the required validity period.
- ✓Certified true copies of relevant laboratory results.
- ✓Hospital abstract or discharge summary if confined.
- ✓Certificate of dialysis treatment if applicable.
- ✓Other medical records specifically requested by SSS Medical Evaluation.
Medical certificate vs medical abstract
Magkaiba ang dalawa. Ang SSS Medical Certificate ay ina-accomplish ng attending physician, usually the nephrologist for a kidney patient. Ang hospital/clinical abstract ay karaniwang nire-request sa Medical Records Department. Ang dialysis certificate/treatment records ay galing sa dialysis centre.
DAEM at payment account
Before payment, the member needs an enrolled disbursement account through the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM). SSS may require proof of account, valid ID and verification photos depending on the channel used.
Pagkatapos ng online filing
SSS may approve based on records, request additional documents, or require a Physical Examination and Interview. The final disability rating, benefit type and entitlement are determined by SSS medical evaluation—not by another patient's outcome.
