As of October 6, 2026, NKTI posted an Electronic MAIFIP flow through eGovPH. Hindi na sapat ang lumang “walk-in lang” advice—pero pagkatapos ma-approve online, may physical processing pa rin sa NKTI.

- • Uploads: iba ang inpatient at outpatient.
- • Approval text: hindi pa final stop.
- • After approval: may NKTI office visit pa.

Create or verify your eGovPH account.
Search DOH / MAIFIP
Tap “Mag-apply ng Tulong Medikal,” choose Patient or Representative, patient type, then NATIONAL KIDNEY AND TRANSPLANT INSTITUTE.
Upload the correct documents
Inpatient and outpatient requests have different document requirements.
Social worker review
If documents are incorrect or incomplete, the application may be marked not qualified or returned for re-submission.
Approval + code generation
If approved, the medical social worker records the approved amount and generates the eMAIFIP code through MAIFIP MIS.
Wait for the eGovPH text
The approved amount is sent through the system.

Claim the code at Medical Social Services Division, then proceed to the correct billing/assistance office.
